Muhammad Babar Azam is a Pakistani cricketer.  Baber is the current captain of Pakistan cricket team in Twenty20 Internationals and also captains the national team in One Day Internationals. Babar Azam is one of the best batsmen in the world. Babar represents Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League. He became the number one ODI player in April 2021.

Early life Babar Azam belongs to the city of Lahore in the province of Punjab. He was born on 15 October 1994, brought up and educated in Lahore. Babar also started his domestic cricket career from Lahore. The beginnings of professional sports Babar was the captain of the Pakistan U-19 cricket team in the 2012 ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup. He has the honor of being the fastest 1000 run scorer in ODI, the first fastest 2000 ODI run scorer and the second fastest 3000 ODI run scorer in the world. Babar Azam set the world record for scoring the most runs after the first 25 ODI innings. Apart from this, Babar also created the record of scoring the most runs in a 3 ODI series.

Early career Babar joined the Pakistan ODI team for the home series against Zimbabwe in May 2015. On May 31, in the third ODI, he played the first match and won the hearts of the fans by scoring 54 runs off 60 balls. Babar Azam was included in the team for the ODI series against Zimbabwe in September 2015, but he did not get a chance to play in this series. However, Pakistan won the series 2-1.

In October of the same year, he was dropped from the Test team. However, you were included in the ODI team for the home series against England. It was a four-match series. In his first ODI, he scored 62 runs at a strike rate of 100 and remained not out. Pakistan won the match due to his brilliant performance. In the next three matches, Babar scored 4, 22 and 51 runs respectively. He finished the series with 139 runs at an average of 46.33. In January 2016, the Pakistan cricket team visited New Zealand for an ODI series. In the first ODI match, Babar scored 62 runs off 76 balls. Pakistan lost this match by 70 runs.

The second ODI match was abandoned due to heavy rain. In the third ODI, Abubakar scored 83 runs off just 77 balls. Pakistan could not win this match and the series. However, cricket experts and fans praised Babar a lot. He managed to score 145 runs in 2 innings at an average of 72.50 in the ODI series. In the five-match ODI series against England in July, he batted in five matches. He managed to score only 122 runs.

Apart from this series played against England, Pakistan also played a series of two ODI matches against Ireland. In this series, Babar scored 29 runs in the first match while the second ODI was abandoned due to rain. Pakistan won the series 1-0 A brilliant achievement by Babar that he played the best game for Pakistan in the Twenty20 International against England on 7th September. He scored an unforgettable 15 runs off 11 balls. Pakistan won both this match and the series.
